CWCBExpo Launches CWCBEducation to Create First-of-its-Kind Entrepreneur Programs for Cannabis and Hemp Companies to Scale their Business

(PARAMUS, NJ–July 2020) – CWCBEducation, a new business initiative from CWCBExpo (Cannabis World Congress & Business Expo), is the first-of-its-kind learning curriculums to help foreign and domestic cannabis, hemp, and CBD entrepreneurs prepare for US market entry or expand their established business.
“The industry is overdue for a comprehensive and credible education program that provides a multi-layered approach to learning, culminating with pitches to potential investors and customers,” said Leo Bridgewater, Head of Innovation, CWCBEducation and Advisory Committee Member, CWCBExpo. “Our vision is to democratize business knowledge by creating pathways for entrepreneurs, regardless of background, education, race, nationality or gender, to learn, integrate, and participate in the wealth creation of this billion dollar industry.”
The CWCBEducation programs will be based on the rich experience and content of Venture Hive, which has been designing, leading and executing global entrepreneur accelerator programs since 2013. Customized to the unique needs of the cannabis, hemp and CBD industries, the three (3) distinct programs will be offered prior to the CWCBExpo events in New York City (Oct. 1-3), Boston (Oct. 21-22), and Los Angeles (March 3-4, 2021).
The legal cannabis industry is still the fastest growing industry in the United States. In 2024, legal adult-use and medical cannabis sales are expected to exceed $30 billion, surpassing legacy industries including prescribed pain medication, OTC sleep aids, and other CPG categories.

US Market Entry for Entrepreneurs – 4 to 6 week program to help existing foreign entrepreneurs enter the US Market through strategic sales and partnerships, and making a debut through a CWCBExpo conference session launch. The program includes weekly cohort meetings, weekly individual mentoring, 10-20 hours of weekly content to complete assignments and includes show floor presence in the CWCBEducation Pavilion and conference registration fees at CWCBExpo.
Product Launch at CWCBExpo – 8 to 12 week program for NEW products to be launched at any CWCBExpo event. The program includes weekly cohort meetings, weekly individual mentoring, 15-20 hours of weekly content to complete assignments and is coupled with a show floor presence in the CWCBEducation Pavilion and conference registration fees at CWCBExpo.
Scale Your Business Accelerator – 8 to 12 week program for existing companies with $250K to $20M in annual revenue. The program includes weekly cohort meetings, weekly individual mentoring, 10-20 hours of weekly content to complete assignments and is coupled with show floor presence in the CWCBEducation Pavilion and conference registration fees at CWCBExpo.
For those companies that successfully complete any of the above programs, they will be invited to pitch their company during a showcase Demo Day (Live or Virtual) in front of a group of potential investors.
